Upcoming Event: DC United v. Chicago Fire

Billikens! Come watch as DC United takes on the Chicago Fire on October 15.

There will be a bring your own food/drink pre-game tailgate! (We will have a tent as to avoid any potential heat stroke incidents.) The school with the best tailgate will be honored on the field at the game so come and show our legendary SLU Billiken soccer pride at our pre-game tailgate. The pre-game tailgate will be located in the tent village in parking lot.

January 11, Schlafly Event at Ballston Rustico

Billikens, Rustico in Arlington will be doing a SCHLAFLY event in January 11.

Schlafly Tap Room & St. Louis Brewery is coming to town and we couldn’t be happier to roll out the welcome mat. The premier craft brewery will be at Ballston Rustico all night next Tuesday pouring five different drafts and opening up three casks – all from the hand of co-founder himself, Dan Kopman. Cool glassware? Check. Schlafly will be handing it out, until they run out. Brews for the evening include:

As far as I know, the game is free to attend and is at the Mt. Vernon campus of GWU (not in Virgina, which is confusing.) RSVP with your email and I will keep in touch closer to the date of the event about what we might do before/after the game.

Basketball Watch Party — 11/18

D.C. Billikens, come out to our first event of the fall this Wednesday (November 18) to watch the Billikens play the Nebraska Corn Huskers at home in the new Chaifetz Arena.

The game watch will be at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, which is located at 639 Indiana Avenue NW (7th & Penn NW) Washington, DC 20004.

Note: Nearest Metro is Archives/Navy Memorial and it’s really close.

The game starts at 7:00CST, so 8:00pm Eastern. Please arrive early if you can — there is no cost to attend and there will be drink specials.

We’ll also discuss event ideas for later in the year and for 2010.
